Ruby is an experienced HR professional who has supported teams of 600+ employees across California and multiple other states. She has expertise in every stage of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding. Ruby is passionate about fostering positive employee experiences and building supportive, engaging workplace cultures.

Why did you join the LA Fire Justice team?‍

I joined the LA Fire Justice Team because I’m passionate about creating positive employee experiences and being a part of a team that is making a meaningful difference and impact in the community. My goal is to make team members feel supported and make their day-to-day a little easier so they can focus on the critical work they’re doing in the community.

What is your favorite thing to do in LA?

My favorite thing to do in LA is play soccer with my friends, spend time with my wife trying out new food, going for long walks with my dog and overall have new experiences by visiting museums I’ve never been to, concerts and sporting events, or exploring different neighborhoods around the city. LA has so much to offer!
