Our Team

I recently earned my Certificate in Paralegal Studies from UCLA Extension, adding to my almost 25 years of administrative support in the banking, hospitality, and educational sectors. I am also a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University where I earned my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and English. Having been in the position of a primary caregiver, reinforced how critical advocacy can be and has influenced my decision to pursue paths where standing up for others is of utmost importance.

Why did you join the LA Fire Justice team?‍

As a Los Angeles native, I have seen my communities be devastated by wild fires and the long standing effects caused on my neighbors. So many times, our communities lose hope in rebuilding when those responsible are not held accountable. I am very proud to be a part of a team where fighting for justice, ensuring accountability, and helping communities rebuild are the heart of our mission.

What is your favorite thing to do in LA?

I love food, music and art. Discovering new venues if they have live music. I support the arts wholeheartedly, so anytime I can venture out to an art exhibit, a play, or concert I will- especially enjoy it if there is food! I recently started to take baking classes and it's been fun and challenging.
